C.C.Rescues is an non-profit organisation dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of Chinese Crested breed dogs. We accept both the hairless and the powderpuff varieties.
C.C.Rescues also accepts breeds that are not Chinese Crested for adoption. This may especially be the case during 'peak periods' when most rescue organisations are overflowing with animals. C.C.Rescues aims to assist ANY type/breed of animal in need.
C.C.Rescues is in honour of my two dearly loved Chinese Crested dogs (Sassy and Yoshi), and also to my beloved Gabby who passed away last year.
Things You Can Learn From Your Dog
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
If there is nothing important going on, take a nap.
Stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout...run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be Loyal.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Our Aims & Objectives
C.C.Rescues' aims and objectives include:
To provide a safe environment for Chinese Crested dogs and puppies, where they are safe from abuse and neglect.
To rescue neglected, abused and abandoned Chinese Crested dogs, as well as to assist those that need to surrender their animal due to various reasons.
To provide the necessary level of rehabilitation to animals in our care, by assessing each individual animal's requirements.
To provide a high standard of medical care, and maintain the highest level of health possible for each individual animal.
To ensure each rescued animal is adopted into an approved, caring, and forever new home that will provide the quality of life every animal.
To represent these animals as well as providing safety, protection and a high quality of life and love in a nurturing environment.
To fundraise to assist in providing continued high quality care in the form of a premium diet, a high standard of housing, and excellent medical care.
To encourage and improve education within the community on the Chinese Crested breed, including the benefits and importance of desexing, duty of care and responsible ownership, training, the importance of socialization for puppies and dogs, basic nutrition, skin care and overall health care.
To work with other reputable and responsible rescues and breed clubs nationwide to encourage and support rescue efforts for all.

This may include not being able to accept any more dogs at that time, or not being able to provide the specific service you were looking for. In these cases, please be assured that C.C.Rescues will try and offer you assistance in finding someone who can help you.
